The case against Oxbridge

Oxford and Cambridge have a problem. They aren’t really universities, at least not in the modern British sense of the word. The average British university is threatened by cuts and is, apart from a few cases, a repository for soon-to-be-indebted psychology, sports science, and business students. Jason Arday’s real sin is that he embarrassed one of Britain’s last elite-making institutions, but that’s the same reason why this scandal won’t change anything. It would embarrass too many of our elites.
